The Prahari Club is a dedicated initiative committed to fostering a safe, healthy and drug-free environment within the school community. The club works towards creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourages them to make informed, responsible and healthy choices.
The club plays an important role in sensitising students to the risks associated with substance abuse and helping them recognise situations that may pose a threat to their well-being. It also promotes awareness about the potential risks of children becoming involved in substance-related activities and encourages students to remain vigilant and seek appropriate support when they encounter concerns.
Through awareness campaigns, educational programmes, counselling initiatives and interactive activities, the Prahari Club strives to empower students with knowledge and positive life skills. It encourages a culture of responsibility, peer support, informed decision-making and healthy living.
The club is committed to working towards a safe, supportive and substance-free learning environment, where every student feels informed, empowered and encouraged to make choices that contribute to their well-being and a healthy future.

WORKSHOP ON THE ILL EFFECTS OF DRUGS

A workshop on the “Ill Effects of Drugs” was organised for the students of Classes IX to XII on 27 August 2026 with the objective of creating awareness among adolescents about the harmful physical, psychological and social consequences of drug abuse.
The session focused on educating students about the importance of making healthy and responsible choices. The resource person highlighted how substance abuse can adversely affect physical health, mental well-being, academic performance, relationships and future prospects. Students were also sensitised to the dangers of peer pressure and the importance of having the confidence to say “NO” to drugs.
Through an interactive and informative session, students were encouraged to recognise risky situations, seek guidance from trusted adults and adopt positive ways of dealing with stress and challenges. The workshop also emphasised that awareness, self-discipline, supportive relationships and timely guidance play an important role in preventing substance abuse.
The workshop proved to be an enriching learning experience for the students. It reinforced the message that a healthy mind and body are the foundation of a bright and successful future, and that staying away from drugs is a collective responsibility of students, families, schools and society.
RALLY ON "SAY NO TO DRUG" AND ANTI-DRUG SLOGAN WRITING FOR CLASSES VI TO XII

To promote a healthy lifestyle and create awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and drug abuse, our school organized a “Say No to Drug” Awareness Rally along with an Anti-Drug Slogan Writing Competition for the students.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who marched through the school campus and nearby areas carrying informative placards and raising powerful slogans such as “DRUG IS A BUG. SAY NO TO DRUG” Their energetic participation spread a strong message about the importance of staying away from tobacco and substance abuse.
Following the rally, students showcased their creativity and social awareness through the Anti-Drug Slogan Writing Competition. They penned impactful and thought-provoking slogans highlighting the ill effects of drugs and tobacco while encouraging healthy habits and responsible decision-making. The activity provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas creatively and reinforce the importance of leading a drug-free life.
The programme concluded with a motivating address by the teachers, who encouraged students to become ambassadors of good health and inspire others to adopt a tobacco-free and drug-free lifestyle. The event successfully instilled a sense of responsibility among students towards building a healthier and safer society.
BAG CHECKING DRIVE FOR CLASSES VI – XII

To reinforce the importance of discipline, safety, and a secure learning environment, the school conducted a Bag Checking Drive for students of Classes VI to XII. The initiative was carried out as a part of the school’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy, and disciplined campus. The bag checking was conducted systematically by the school authorities in the presence of teachers, ensuring that the process was fair, respectful, and transparent. Students were encouraged to carry only the required textbooks, notebooks, and stationery while avoiding any prohibited or unnecessary items. The drive served as an awareness activity to remind students about the importance of adhering to school rules and regulations. It also provided an opportunity to educate them about responsible behaviour, personal accountability, and the need to contribute towards a safe and positive school environment. Students cooperated enthusiastically throughout the activity, demonstrating their understanding of the school’s commitment to their well-being. The initiative successfully reinforced the values of discipline, responsibility, and respect for school norms. Through such proactive measures, the school continues to foster a safe, secure, and conducive atmosphere where every student can learn, grow, and excel with confidence.
ROAD RAGE – CLASS TALK BY STUDENTS OF CLASSES VI–VIII

As part of the school’s Road Safety Awareness Programme, a Class Talk on “Road Rage” was conducted by the students of Classes VI to VIII on 27 July 2026. The activity aimed to educate students about the causes, consequences, and prevention of road rage while encouraging responsible behaviour on the roads. The students confidently shared their views on how impatience, anger, reckless driving, and disregard for traffic rules can lead to road rage and serious accidents. Through informative presentations and interactive discussions, they emphasized the importance of staying calm, respecting fellow road users, following traffic regulations, and practising patience while travelling. The speakers highlighted that every individual has a role to play in ensuring road safety by displaying courtesy, self-control, and responsible conduct. They also encouraged their peers to spread awareness among family members and the community about safe driving practices and the need to avoid aggressive behaviour on the roads.
The class talk proved to be an enriching learning experience, helping students develop awareness, confidence, and a sense of civic responsibility. The programme reinforced the message that safe roads begin with responsible attitudes, and that patience and respect can make our roads safer for everyone.
WORKSHOP ON PEER PRESSURE AND ANTI-BULLYING FOR CLASSES IX–XII

As part of its commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and emotionally healthy learning environment, the school organized a Workshop on “Peer Pressure and Anti-Bullying” for the students of Classes IX to XII on 27 July 2026.
The workshop aimed to create awareness about the impact of peer pressure and bullying on students’ emotional well-being, academic performance, and overall personality development. Through engaging discussions, real-life examples, and interactive activities, students were encouraged to recognize unhealthy peer influence, build self-confidence, and make responsible decisions. The session also emphasized the importance of empathy, kindness, mutual respect, and standing up against all forms of bullying. Students were sensitized to identify bullying behaviours, support their peers, and seek timely help from teachers, parents, or school counsellors whenever required. The workshop inspired students to become responsible and compassionate individuals who contribute to a positive and respectful school culture. It reinforced the message that every student has the right to learn in a safe and supportive environment, free from fear, discrimination, and harassment. The programme concluded with a pledge by the students to reject bullying in all its forms, respect one another’s differences, and promote friendship, inclusivity, and responsible behaviour both inside and outside the school.

ROAD SAFETY ROLE PLAY BY CLASSES I –V

To promote awareness about road safety and responsible citizenship among young learners, our school organized a Road Safety Role Play for students of Classes I to V on 27 July 2026.
The activity provided an engaging platform for students to learn and demonstrate the importance of following traffic rules through creative role plays. Dressed as traffic police officers, pedestrians, drivers, doctors, and road safety volunteers, the students confidently enacted real-life situations highlighting the significance of traffic signals, zebra crossings, helmets, seat belts, and safe road behaviour. The performances effectively conveyed valuable messages such as obeying traffic rules, avoiding the use of mobile phones while on the road, respecting traffic signs, and being responsible road users. The enthusiasm and confidence displayed by the students reflected their understanding of the importance of road safety in everyday life. The event not only enhanced students’ communication and presentation skills but also instilled a sense of discipline, responsibility, and civic awareness. Teachers appreciated the sincere efforts of the participants and encouraged them to spread the message of road safety among their families and communities.
The Road Safety Role Play was an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience that reinforced the belief that “Road Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility.” Through such activities, the school continues to nurture socially responsible and safety-conscious citizens.
