PURCHASE COMMITTEE
To ensure that purchases meet quality specifications, are priced appropriately, and are made from reliable suppliers we have a purchase committee in our school. It includes the Head of the School, accounts department and faculty members. The committee receives and evaluates purchase recommendations from individual departments, verifies that goods meet the required specifications and quality standards, ensures that prices are competitive and suppliers are competent, monitors and verifies that approved procurement procedures are followed. It approves and issues purchase orders or contracts to the selected vendors, ensures the timely delivery of purchased materials and upholds impartiality, fairness, and transparency throughout the procurement process.
