CONSTITUTION OF THE PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA)

“The best education happens when parents and teachers work together to support every child.”

The school carried out the constitution of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Executive Body in a smooth, fair, and transparent manner. The event highlighted the shared commitment of parents and teachers towards creating a nurturing and progressive learning environment for students. It was attended by respected chairperson Sir, Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, our worthy HOS, Mr. Md. Imran Zafeer, honourable advisor, Mrs Manisha Sengar, our esteemed teachers, and our dear parents

The selection of both parent and teacher representatives was conducted through a draw of lots, ensuring equal opportunity for all eligible members. The proceedings took place in the presence of school authorities, teacher participants, and parent participants, strengthening trust, unity, and openness in the process. Each announcement was received with appreciation and a collective sense of responsibility.

The newly formed PTA Executive Body stands as a symbol of strong partnership between home and school. Through regular interaction and cooperation, the association will contribute meaningfully to the academic excellence and holistic development of every learner.

The school looks forward to a constructive and successful journey with the PTA.

 

 

REPUBLIC DAY PROGRAMME

“The Constitution is the foundation of a strong, united, and democratic nation.”

 The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated on 26th January 2026 with pride and patriotic spirit in the school premises. The programme began with a warm welcome to the honourable Chairman Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, Mrs. Malia, the respected School Manager Mr. Sukhdev Sir and Mrs. Sukhdev, the Head of School Mr. Md. Imran Zafeer Sir, and all esteemed staff members.

The significance of Republic Day and the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in the Constitution were highlighted. The Honourable Chairman Sir then hoisted the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism and pride.

In his address, the Chairman Sir inspired the staff to uphold constitutional values and continue shaping responsible citizens through education. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and patriotic slogans of “Jai Hind” and “Jai Bharat”, followed by tea and refreshments.

The celebration served as a meaningful reminder of our duties as citizens and educators of the nation.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

A BAGLESS DAY OF PATRIOTISM AND JOY

“Freedom in mind, faith in words, pride in our hearts, and memories in our souls—this is the true spirit of our Republic.”

To celebrate the spirit of India’s Republic Day, the school organised a vibrant and engaging Bagless Day, giving students a refreshing break from routine academics and an opportunity to learn through creativity and experience. With school bags kept aside, the campus buzzed with enthusiasm as students actively participated in a wide range of patriotic and fun-filled activities.

The day began with energetic classroom engagements such as the Tricolour Slogan Rally, where students worked in teams to create and chant inspiring slogans and poems on the theme “My India, My Pride.” History came alive through Freedom Fighters’ Skits, as students enacted short performances highlighting the lives, values, and contributions of great national leaders.

Creativity took centre stage with activities like Poster Making, Slogan Writing, and Bookmark Designing, where students expressed their thoughts on Republic Day, national symbols, and love for the nation through colours and words. Younger learners joyfully participated in Colouring Sheets, Tear and Paste Activities, and craft-based tasks such as making the National Flag, Tricolour Paper Dolls, and Wall Hangings, strengthening their fine motor skills while learning about national identity.

Adding a practical and enjoyable element to the celebration, Fireless Cooking and Sandwich Making activities encouraged students to prepare healthy, no-cook dishes such as tricolour sandwiches and fruit-based snacks. These activities promoted creativity, teamwork, and awareness about nutritious food choices.

The celebration was a beautiful blend of learning, creativity, and patriotic spirit. Through art, performance, craft, and collaboration, students not only celebrated the Republic but also imbibed values of unity, responsibility, creativity, and pride in being citizens of India—making the day truly meaningful and memorable.

 

FAREWELL CEREMONY – CLASS XII (SESSION 2025–26)

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

The school organised a warm and memorable Farewell Ceremony on 17 January 2026 to bid adieu to the outgoing batch of Class XII. The programme was thoughtfully planned and compered by the students of Class XI as a heartfelt expression of gratitude, admiration, and best wishes for their seniors.

The ceremony began with a cordial welcome to the esteemed chairperson, Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, all the distinguished dignitaries, respected teachers, and the entire school fraternity, whose guidance has played a vital role in shaping the journey of the seniors.

The inspiring address by the respected Chairperson, Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, filled the occasion with motivation and positivity, encouraging the students to step confidently into a new phase of life.

The cultural performances beautifully brought the stage alive, blending colour, energy, and emotions that touched every heart. From lively dance performances by Class XI to a nostalgic skit and captivating dances by Class XII, each presentation beautifully reflected school life, friendships, and unforgettable memories. The heartfelt farewell speech by Himanya, on behalf of the outgoing batch, deeply resonated with everyone present.

The ceremony concluded with a grand final dance by Class XII—an emotional yet joyful celebration marking their last performance as students of the school. As the seniors move forward, the responsibility of upholding the school’s values and traditions now passes on to Class XI. The programme ended with a sincere vote of thanks, followed by lunch and a lively DJ session, making the farewell a truly cherished memory for all.

 

 

LOHRI CELEBRATION

“Lohri marks a time to cherish traditions and strengthen bonds.”

Our school campus was filled with warmth, joy, and festive spirit as we celebrated the vibrant festival of Lohri with great enthusiasm. The celebration reflected the rich cultural heritage of India and brought together all staff members in a joyful atmosphere.

The occasion was graced by our respected Chairperson, Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, honourable advisor of Advisory Board, Mrs. Manisha Sengar, esteemed HOS, Mr. Md. Imran Zafeer, and our most revered Mrs. Anjali Nakra Mam, who was a part of Angels family. They congratulated everyone and extended their warm wishes on this auspicious festival. A variety of fun-filled games were organised, adding excitement and cheer to the celebration.

Delicious snacks and tea were served, allowing everyone to enjoy the festivities together. Adding to the joyous spirit, our respected HOS Sir, actively participated in the celebration along with the entire school team, motivating and encouraging all present.

The Lohri celebration was a memorable event that strengthened bonds, spread happiness, and highlighted the importance of celebrating traditions together as one school family.

CHILDREN’S DAY – BAGLESS DAY CELEBRATION

Our school joyfully celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2025 through a vibrant and engaging Bagless Day organised for all classes from Nursery to XII. The celebration aimed to honour the spirit, creativity, and enthusiasm of children by providing them with opportunities to learn, explore, and celebrate in a joyful and relaxed environment.

To ensure meaningful participation for students of all age groups, online activities were conducted for Classes Nursery to V, while Classes VI to XII attended offline sessions in the school campus. Teachers curated a series of interactive and creative activities that encouraged expression, confidence, teamwork, and festive joy.

Students from Classes Nursery to V took part in various online activities, while students of Classes VI to XII engaged in multiple hands-on tasks. These included paper flower making, poster designing, photo frame creation, nachos or fruit chat preparation, and various fun pot games aimed at enhancing communication skills and fostering creativity.

Following the classroom activities, all students assembled in the school ground for the next phase of the celebrations. Our respected sir, Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, who serves as the President of LAPS Society and Chairman of the School Managing Committee, addressed the students and extended warm wishes to all the children. He advised them to grow into responsible and conscientious citizens and appreciated the sincere efforts of teachers in nurturing young minds with dedication and care. Our dear HOS/ Vice Principal (Interim) sir, Mr. Md. Imran Zafeer also conveyed his warm wishes to the students.

A special highlight of the celebration was a vibrant Zumba session organised for students across all grades. The lively music and coordinated dance steps filled the atmosphere with energy and excitement, promoting physical fitness in a fun-filled manner. The involvement of teachers brought an extra spark to the celebration and strengthened the spirit of togetherness among teachers and students.

The celebration brought smiles, laughter, and memorable moments to all students, reinforcing the belief that children are at the heart of our school community. The day concluded with photographs capturing the joy, creativity, and vibrant spirit of the young learners.

At our school, we remain committed to nurturing the talents, happiness, and holistic development of every child, making Children’s Day a truly special and cherished occasion each year.

 

SAFAL CBSE EXAMINATION 2025 – 2026

Our school successfully conducted the SAFAL (Structured Assessment for Analyzing Learning) examination as per the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The assessment was held for the designated classes with the objective of evaluating students’ competency levels through an outcome-based approach.

The SAFAL assessment provided students an opportunity to demonstrate their learning through application-oriented and competency-based questions. The exam was conducted in a structured and systematic manner, ensuring fairness, transparency, and smooth execution across all participating classes.

Teachers guided the students throughout the process and ensured that they were well-prepared for this new assessment pattern. Students took the exam with great enthusiasm and sincerity, reflecting their readiness to adapt to progressive evaluation methods.

The successful completion of the SAFAL examination stands as a testament to our school’s commitment to quality education and continuous learning. We look forward to further strengthening competency-based learning and assessment practices for the holistic development of our students.

INTER – ZONAL INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC (SWAR & PERCUSSION) COMPETITION

We are delighted to share that our school successfully hosted the Inter-Zonal Instrumental Music (Swar & Percussion) Competition on 10 November 2025, under the guidance of the Directorate of Education.

The event brought together talented participants from various schools across the zone, who showcased their musical skills with passion and excellence. Several esteemed judges were invited to evaluate the competition. The panel included Mr. Sukhchain Singh (music teacher, Sarvodaya Vidyalay), Dr. Vineeta Rai (music teacher, SKV), Dr. Jagdish Prasad (retired music teacher, DOE), and Ms. Pali Chaudhary, retired music teacher, DOE). Their presence added grace, fairness, and value to the event.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by our esteemed Sir, Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, the Chairman of School Managing Committee and President of LAPS Society, followed by a warm welcome address by our respected HOS / Vice Principal (Interim), Mr. Md. Imran Zafeer.

The participants mesmerized the audience with their dedication, rhythm, and musical proficiency. Our school volunteers and students contributed significantly to the smooth coordination and seamless execution of the event, ensuring that every segment was conducted efficiently.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Directorate of Education for entrusting us with the opportunity to host this prestigious event. We also express our sincere appreciation to all esteemed guests, teachers, and members of the school fraternity for their valuable support and presence.

DIWALI CELEBRATION

“Diwali is the time to light up our hearts with hope, kindness, and togetherness.”

Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on Saturday, 18 October 2025, in our school. The entire campus glowed with festive decorations, diyas, and rangolis, reflecting the true spirit of the occasion.

A Diwali Pooja was performed by all the staff members to seek the divine blessings of prosperity, happiness, and harmony. The ceremony created a serene and spiritual atmosphere, filling everyone’s hearts with positivity and devotion.

To mark the celebration, Diwali gifts were distributed by the school authorities to all members of the Angels family as a gesture of love and appreciation. The celebration fostered a spirit of unity, joy, and gratitude among the staff, making the day truly memorable.

DIWALI CELEBRATION – BAGLESS DAY

The festival of Diwali was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our school through a vibrant Bagless Day for students from Nursery to Class XII.

The day began with a special assembly and an inspiring address by the Head of School, Md. Imran Zafeer, who encouraged everyone to celebrate Diwali responsibly and spread light through acts of kindness and positivity.

The entire campus looked radiant and festive, adorned with colorful rangolis, diyas, and creative decorations. Students participated wholeheartedly in a variety of hands-on activities, including diya painting, paper lantern making, greeting card designing, poster creation, and wall hanging crafts.

The Bagless Day allowed students to learn beyond books — fostering creativity, teamwork, and cultural appreciation. The celebration truly reflected the essence of Diwali, symbolizing light, joy, and togetherness.

 

TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION

Lt. Col. Mehar Little Angels Sr. Sec. School celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm to honour the invaluable contributions of our mentors and guides. The programme began with a warm welcome to Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia who serves as the President of Little Angels Public School Society, Chairman of the School Managing Committee, and Administrative Director of the school, and Mr. Mohammad Imran Zafeer, Head of School.

In his inspiring address, our dear Sir, Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, highlighted the noble role of teachers as nation-builders and urged students to value discipline, hard work, and respect for their mentors. His words deeply motivated the young learners to pursue excellence and carry forward the values instilled by their teachers.

The cultural events included a soulful Guru Vandana, a poem recital, a thoughtful speech, and vibrant dance performances by students. The highlight of the day was the special dance performances by teachers, which were received with great admiration and applause.

To mark the occasion, a special lunch was organised for the entire staff as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers, students, and the organizing team for making the event a memorable success.

The day was a beautiful tribute to our teachers, whose dedication and guidance continue to inspire generations.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

 HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

15th August 1947 is a day no Indian can ever forget. It was the day our nation finally breathed the air of freedom, after years of struggle and sacrifice. Every year, this day fills our hearts with pride, joy, and gratitude as we remember the countless heroes who gave everything for India’s independence.

At Lt. Col. Mehar Little Angels Sr. Sec. School, the 79th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August 2025 with true spirit and enthusiasm. The morning began with a spirit of patriotism in every heart. The National Flag was hoisted by our respected Mr. Baljinder Singh Malia, who is the President of Little Angels Public School Society, Chairman of the School Managing Committee, and Administrative Director of our school. His heartfelt words reminded us of our responsibility as caretakers of this beautiful nation, he also reiterated the need tp be righteous, dedicated, honest and self-disciplined to be the honoured citizens of the nation.

The celebration continued with a soulful patriotic song that touched every heart, followed by poems and speeches in both English and Hindi where our students shared what this day truly means to them. Their words were simple yet powerful, reminding us all that freedom is not just a gift to enjoy but a legacy to protect.

The programme concluded on a unifying note with the National Anthem, sung with pride and passion. On behalf of the school management, sweet packets were distributed to all the students and the staff members enjoyed a warm breakfast together as part of the celebration, making the day feel even more festive and full of togetherness.
