Digitally claims to be one of the best service provider company in the field of Education and Technology. It has won serveral awards for its revolutionary ideas in this field. The kit it offers has a touch screen the base of which is steel made that even the rough handling would not damage it. It has a features of even recording the lectures which is indeed unique feature that enables the class to be goning even if the teacher is absent. This means that students will not suffer the absence of the teacher as she would be present in the class virtually.
Each student will be provided a personal remote contest for recording the answer for the evaluation purpose. The child would not have to wait for weeks to know his result, it would be given to him instantly.
The company is 99.9% in accordance with CBSE curriculum. The Modules can be edited as per the teacher's convinience, making it flexible and teacher friendly. The workshop semed to be very promising !

Technology has brought revolution in the world .Now with the same aim it is entering into the field of education as well. Educomp a leading company in the field of Education and Technology held a workshop in LAPS to aware the teachers about the smart classes. The workshop showed the benefit of introducing Educomp smart Kit in classes. The Kit comprised of a Shadow-free projector especially designed for break free teaching. Differernt modules of different subjects are provided for hassle free teaching - learning process. On the spot assessment papers to help the teacher understand the effect of the lecture delivered. The kit makes the evaluation, assessment and remedial processess easy. The workshop was well appreciated by the teachers!
WORKSHOP BY TAKSHILA INSTITUTE OF COMPETITION

A workshop to help "Shape Your Career" was organised by the Takshila Institute of Competition for the students of Class XI and XII. For Science students IIT - AIEEE, DCE, CPMT etc. were the choices mentioned.Guidelines on how to crack the entrance exams were also provided.
WORKSHOP ON CAREER COUNSELLING - 17 th October 2011
A workshop on carrer counselling was held in the school. The director of Singh Study Circle, Mr. Joginder Singh, conducted the workshop. He spoke about the better education and greater access to education students would get by joining this institute. The institute aims at helping the students live smartly and intelligently. He motivated the students to decide their dream goal and hence proceed ina specific manner. He inspired the students to discover and develop scientific ways of learning, new memory techniques to learn topics, deliver consistent and high quality content that would also develop leadership skills in them. The students seemed motivated by his words. This workshop indeed proved to be beneficial to the students.
WINGS TO FLY - 13 th October 2011
Frankfin - India's leading training institute in Aviation and Hospitality organised a workshop in the school.
Students of classes XI and XII were made a part of this workshop. The aim of this workshop was to aware the students about the growing Avitation Industry and the wider career opportunity after XII. The Institute offer multiple options for part-time vocational courses in Avitation, Hospitality and Travel Management. It promises the students International Qualification (as a part of exclusive tie up with ICM, U.K). It also aims at growing their personality, make them confident and dynamic.
Our Angelites attended this workshop with great entusiasm and they seemed absorbed in the broader career aspect the Aviation industry promises to them. Frankfin indeed gave our students wings to fly and reach the Sky!
WROKSHOP ON VEDIC MATHEMATICS- 11 th October 2011

Workshop was conducted by Aditi Singal, founder of Dynamic Minds Group, Vedic Maths expert par excellence. She has to her credit two National Records for Memory and Fastest Calculaation. She explained various techniques and benefits of Vedic Mathematics. Vedic Mathematics is the fastest system of mental mathematics where by big calcuations are computed easily in one line using simple smart techniques. The shortcut formulae make it possible for students to multiply a 20 - digit number by a 20 - digit number, without using pen and paper with 0% error. Main benefits of vedic Maths are that it eliminates math-phobia, increases thath it eliminates math- phobia, increases speed and accuracy and increases visualization and concentration abilities.
A SIMPLE TRICK FOR A SAFE LIFE - 27 th September 2011
Indian Oil Corporation organised a safety workshop in the School. It aimed at judicious and safe use of LPG cylinders. The workshop was conducted for 8th to 11th class students where they were taught to conserve LPG handle emergencies. Magic tricks were shown to them for a better understanding . Safety Rules to use LPG were told.
Students took keen interest in this workshop and were happy to learn simple tricks for safer life.

A workshop on Personality Development was conducted for the girl students of Class VII & VIII. Qualities and Traits to enhance personality were discussed. Types of personalities like Mechanical Personality, Conventional, Learning, Enterprising and Artistic personalities were elaborated upon. How to mantain one's health and hygiene was focused in the discussion. A movie related to the above was screened.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME ON C.C.E 20th February 2010
CBSE has implemented the scheme of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) in Class IX from the current academic session in all its affiliated schools. To apprise the parents of the changes, the second round of orientation programme was organized for the parents of Class X on 20th and 20th February 2010 and for the parents of Class IX on 26th March 2010 in the Projector Hall.
System of Assessment to be followed was explicitly explained. It was brought to theirknowledge that assessment of a learner will now include both scholastic and co-scholastic areas with particular reference to attributes such as Life Skills, Attitudes and Values, Sports and Games as well as co-curricular activities. Grades will be alloted to them according to their performance. Parents greatly appreciated this exercise and clarified their doubts as well.

WORKSHOP ON 'SUSTAINABILITY' 12thJANUARY 2010
A Team from Mahindra headed by Mr. D.S.Bhatnagar, Head North Mahindra Powerol Business conducted a workshop on 'Sustainability'. The other team members were Mr. Sushil Divedi, Mahindra Green Champion, Mumbai and Mr. Abdul Hamid Bhatt, Mahindra Champion, Srinagar, J&K. They brought home the point of the need of creating an awareness in the students about environmental issues which have posed a great threat to mankind all over the world.

They also emphasised upon the duty of every individual to preserve the resources available. Mr. D.S.Bhatnagar forcefully voiced his opinion about the need to sustain 'Nature and Human Life'. Mr. Abdul Hamid Bhatt, in colaboration with the student community all over India has successfully launched a 'Tree Plantation Drive' with a motive of reviving 'Green City'. Mr. Sushil Divedi, showed a Powerpoint Presentation of a documentry film 'An Inconvenient Truth' which highlighted the gruesome effects of 'Global Warming' on the World. This was followed by a Questionnaire session. Four winning Trophies were given to the meritorious children. The school also was presented a Trophy for its active participation in promoting awareness on such environmental issues. Our Principal, Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar, alongwith the Mahindra Team and School Staff did the 'Tree Plantation'.

INSTALLATION OF ROLLYPOLLY
It is a device that converts waste into manure. We generate a lot of Biological waste in the school like waste paper, fruit peels, waste food etc. This can be easily converted into manure at no cost, to provide nutrition to the flowering plants in our garden. The device installed is a polygonal drum like structure with a cow like flexible mouth. It undergoes Aerobic bacterial fermentation, gradually passing through various compartments and takes 45- 50 days to convert into productive manure. This is the best method of generating 'Best out of Waste' adopted by our school.
CAREER COUNSELING ON SELECTION IN NDA
Mr. C.S Kataria from the Military Academy conducted a workshop for the students of Class XII, to guide them on the various options available to them after leaving the portals of the school. UPSC conducts the NDA exams twice in a year. He brought home the various advantages of joining the armed forces like exotic lifestyle, job guarantee after selection, high pay scales and other allowances, medical benefits and overall a sophisticated and well groomed personality. He lured the students towards this profession by showing them various videos of the IMA, Dehradun. The children displayed keen interest and submitted their names to Mr. Kataria. Overall it was an enriching moment for the students.the resources available.

WORKSHOP ON 'EFFECTIVE CLASSROOM TEACHING'
A workshop on 'How to Make Teaching Effective' in the classrooms was conducted by Ms. Rajni Rana and Ms. Jaishree Dalal. A model lesson with supportive teaching aids was used to impart the concepts. It was a highly interactive session. The intricacies of teaching method in primary classes was discussed at length. It was resourceful and a ready reckoner.
WORKSHOP ON 'TEACHING OF MATHEMATICS'
A Phobia of Mathematics persists in the minds of the children, even though innovative techniques are being introduced from time to time. To inculcate interest in the children through simplified methods, a workshop was conducted by Ms. Nishu Khurana on 'Quadilaterals' for Class VII and VIII and Ms. Vandana Sharma on 'Addition' for class I and II.
WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS ON 'COMMUNICATIVE ENGLISH'
'Ratna Sagar Publications' conducted a workshop on how to teach 'Communicative English' in the classrooms. Stress was laid upon the four skills namely speaking, listening, reading and writing to be drilled through interactive method. Emphasis was laid upon 'Group Discussions' and the art of 'Scaffolding' to be held in the classrooms. Methods to deal with 'Poetry' were also discussed during the session. It is important that teaching should be student oriented rather than teacher oriented.

WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS ON 'ABACUS'
On 26th March, mathematics workshop was conducted by Sanjiv Malhotra, representative of ALOHA educational institute. ALOHA is the first institution in India to be awarded the highly coveted ISO 9001:2000 certification in the field of 'ABACUS EDUCATION'. This institute runs various programmes out of which Mental Arithmetic is one of them. What is Abacus? How is it used? Methods to improve mathematical calculations in seconds, faster than calculator was explained with the help of Abacus in the workshop. The main purpose of this programme is to endow not only speed and accuracy in calculations but also to help the child in various aspects like building concentration, grasping ability and improving memory.
WORKSHOP OF 'CHOWDER'S FUN FOOD FUNDA'
A 'Food Dressing' competition was held for classes IV-VII. The teams were divided into two : 'Hajmola Candy team and Big Babool Team'. The teams were given a shopping basket with a time span of 10 minutes where they had to display their culinary skills. The students prepared the dishes enthusiastically and won many prizes.

WORKSHOP ON SURAKSHA AND SANGRAKSHAN SANGHOSHTI BY INDANE GROUP
A Workshop by the Magician Akhileah Jaswal was conducted regarding all the safety points to be adhered to while working in the kitchen. The message was communicated through the magical tricks performed, starting from safety of pressure cooker to maintenance of the gas cylinder was covered under the workshop. It was indeed resourceful.
WORKSHOP BY JHONSON & JHONSON
A Workshop for the Girls of Classes VI - IX was conducted by the Group headed by Dr. Sadhna from Action Balaji Hospital, Paschim Vihar. The problems related to 'Hormonal Changes' and awareness regarding 'Personal Health and Hygiene' was explicitly explained through a movie. Questionaire was given to the children and their queries were answered by the Doctor.
SEMINAR ON THE NEED OF POLICE INTERACTION WITH THE STUDENTS
A Seminar was organized by the police department. The S.H.O, Delhi West addressed the students to sensitize them towards the henious crimes taking place in the society. He highlighted the need of inculcating the feeling of patriotism in children. He advised the children to be alert and report of any untoward incidents. Need to follow the rules and regulations was highlighted. Warning against driving vehicles by the students and wandering in the markets was given. He stressed that the children of today need to be the good citizens of the nation tomorrow .

WORKSHOP ON CAREER COUNSELING BY WISDOM MART
To
empower the students plan out their careers, a group of professionals
from Wisdom Mart, conducted a workshop for the students. They offered
information of the Top Universities, interview preparation and guidance
for the U.S.A student's Visa. A brief was given on clearance of exams
like IELTS, TOFEL and SAT I & II. An aptitude test was given to the
students.

WORKSHOP ON 'TOUCH THE LIGHT' PROGRAM BY ISHWARIYA VISHWA VIDYALAYA
The Youth wing of Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya conducted a workshop with the aim of redefining excellence by developing a holistic personality of individuals. This is particularly for Class VII. The main focus of this project is to rejuvenate the voice of values across disciplines, whether it is education, business, science, media, jurists or even politics.We wish to encourage "Living Values" which will lead to a value based society and thereby a value based nation. This program will focus on increased concentration, awareness about values, shift of focus from negativity towards positivity, spiritual awakening, help building effective personality, knowledge about virtues and behavioural positive changes like positive attitude and positive approach towards life.

WORKSHOP BY AVALON ACADEMY, AVIATION
The workshop was conducted by the corporate trainer presenting the first of its kind degree programs - BBA and MBA in aviation. The children were informed about the training imparted for the plum cabin crew and ground staff posting. Children could opt for courses like Airport Management, Air Hostess Training, Flight Steward Training, Ground Staff Services. It was valuable and informative.
