JANAMASHTAMI CELEBRATION (13th August 2014)

Janamashtmi was celebrated on 13 August 2014. Children were told about the festival and Lord Krishna's birthday. Children decorated the flutes and head masks were made with peacock feathers.

 

RAKHI - MAKING (4th August 2014)

On the festival of Raksha Bandhan our tiny tots celebrated it in their own way on 4 August 2014.

Nursery - Rakhees were made and decorated in the class.

K.G.- Thali decoration was done.

 

 

SQUASH MAKING ACTIVITY (18th July 2014)

To beat the heat of summers a Squash Making Activity was organised for our toddlers on friday, 18 July , 2014. Students made delicious and refreshing squashes using sugar, water, juices etc.

ENGLISH RECITATION COMPETITION (17th January 2014)

English Recitation was celebrated in the school. Children recited the rhymes with proper actions and props. Best from each class were selected and awarded certificates.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION (24th December 2013)

Christmas was celebrated in the school. Few children were dressed up as Santa. The teacher explained why we celebrate christmas. Children sang Christmas Craols around the Christmas tree.

Activity: Children made a snowman with paper plates, wool, buttons and googly eyes. Children made a Santa stockings with the help of socks, cotton, stars.

COLOURING COMPETITION (14th November 2013)

Colouring competion was celebrated with full fun and floric.

DIWALI CELERATION (30th October 2013)

Diwali was celebrated with full fun and floric.

Activity: Children coloured Diyas and Candles, Crunchy with Chololate syrup, 'Kuch Meetha Ho Jai', Muffins with Gems'. Chocolate Cookies.

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION

Dussehra celebration was held on 11.10.13. Effigies of Ravana was made with the help of Maggi wrapper, toffee wrapper, ice-cream stick and rubber band. Children were taught different rhymes.

WORLD SMILE DAY

World Smile Day was celebrated on 4.10.13.children were told that they should always smile.They bought smilies for their lunch.

Activity- Smile faces were given to them. Sticks puppets -Smile faces were made and pasted on Ice Cream Sticks.

Janmashtmi was celebrated on 27.8.13. Children were told about Janamashtmi festival. They were told about Lord Krishna's birthday.

Activity- Pots were decorated beautifully with mirrors, stars. and Headgears were made with peacock feathers and pastel sheet.

ANNUAL SUPW AND SCIENCE EXHIBITION

SUPW Exhibition was held on 17.8.13

1. Save Our Planet Earth-Children explained how to save- Save Electricity, Save Forest, Save Water, Save Tiger, Importance of Recycle Waste.

2. Disney Land- Cartoons characters were displaced . Students dressed up as cartoons character.

3. Creativity Blast- The room was totally decorated with the worksheets made by using glitters, wool, mirrors, crayon shaving, tearing and pasting.

4. Kids Zone- Children were actively working on the computer showing their expertise in it.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Independence day was celebrated on 14.8.13. Flags were made with ice cream sticks and given as an incentive. Dabbing Impression was done in a dove.

Stage Performance: Children danced on the song Mera Joota Hai Japani...

SQUASH MAKING

Squash Making was done on 08.8.13. To know the importance of juices and drinks in summer season. Different drinks were prepared by all the children.

YELLOW COLOUR DAY

Yellow Colour Day was celebrated on 25.7.13. All the children were dressed up in Yellow dresses. Recognition of Yellow Colour was done with real objects like lemon, banana, Ballon etc.

Actvity: Tulips were made with origami sheeet by the children and given as an incentive.

Worksheet: Colouring in the worksheet was done.

Blue Colour Day was celebrated on 01.5.13 - 03.5.13. All the children were dressed up in Blue dresses. Recognition of Blue Colour was done with real objects like cup, doll, toy car,etc.

Smart Board: Different objects were drawn and coloured with blue colour on the board were shown to the children.

Actvity: Onion impression in a butterfly, Crumbled paper Impression in a ball. Lady finger impression in a frock, Spong Impression in a balloon.

RED COLOUR DAY (22nd April 2012)

Red Colour Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. All the Children were dressed up in Red dresses. Recognition of red colour was done with different objects like an Apple, Red Ball, Balloon, Letter Box etc.

Smart Board: Different shapes were drawn and coloured with red colour on the board were shown to the children.

Activity: Finger Impression in flowers, tearing and pasting in an apple, Cotton Dubbing in a letter box, Thumb Impression in carrot.

EARTH DAY (22nd April 2013)

Earth Day is celebrated in the school every year. It is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. A model of an Earth was shown to teh children. Importance of trees and cleanliness of environment was explained.

Activity: Colouring the worksheet was done. A batch of the Earth was given to the children.

BAISAKHI CELEBRATION (12th April 2013)

Baisakhi marks the beginning of the solar year and the new harvest season. This festival is celebrated with great fervour, especially by the people of punjab. The children were taken out and the teacher explained why and how we celebrate Baisakhi. It also has special significance for sikhs as on this day, their tenth Guru Gobind Singh Ji organised the order of Khalsa.

Girls were dressed up in Salwar Kameez and boys were dressed in Kurta Pyjama

Activity: Scarecrow was made on Pastel Sheet.

BASANT PANCHMI (15th February 2013)

Basant Panchmi was celebrated in the school. Children were dressed up in yellow colour clothes. They brought yellow food in lunch and yellow flowers to worship goddess Saraswati.

ANNUAL S.U.P.W AND SCIENCE EXIBITION (25th August 2012)

BIRD SANCTUARY:- Amazing facts about the birds were presented. The jungle scene attracted the attention  of every one specially the parents.   
HEALTH IS WEALTH :- It was a lesson to learn from  the toddlers when they were explaining how a person should be health conscious. It was well depicted by the small children through the anti campaign of junk food and the importance of eating healthy and  organic food.
CREATIVITY BLAST :- It was indeed a big package surprise to see small hand creatively using colours and giving shapes to various things. The room was totally decorated with the worksheets made by using glitters, wool, mirrors, crayon  shavings, tearing and pasting and pista, shells.
WELCOME TO CHIP ZONE :- It is not only the elders who need to be techno savoy. The children were made to perform the roles of virus, mouse and keyboard. Many of the children were actively working on the computers showing their expertise in it. The function was greatly applauded by all the parents .

HOLIDAY'S HOMEWORK DISPLAY (4th August 2012)

The toddlers of the junior school are any day at par with their seniors. To authenticate this, one had to see and believe the work done by the little hands during their holiday.The work display was a feather in the cap. The artistic strokes of colour was a marveL. The worksheets done by them reflected their intense will to study and reproduce. The parents greatly appreciated the creative ability of the students.
