SCHOOL ACTIVITIES SHOW AND TELL COMPETITION (16th December 2011) Show and Tell competiton was held on 16.12.11.Children bought their toy vehicle like cars, train, bus, aeroplane etc and they spoke few lines accordingly. Topic: Transport and My Favourite toy Best two from each class was selected:
GURUPURAB CELEBRATION (9th November 2011) Gurupurab was celebrated in the school. The children were taken to the Gurudwara to know about Sikh Gurus. After 'Ardas' Prasad was distributed. DIWALI CELEBRATION (25th October 2011) Diwali celebration was held in the school. Pooja of Lakshmi and Ganesha was done in the corridor. Diwali Party was conducted in the classes. The Children made Lanterns and Diwali Cards.
BEST DRESSED CHILD (20th October 2011) Best dressed child was held in School. Best one from each class was selected.

SUPW EXHIBITION (27th August 2011) SUPW Exhibition was inaugratedby the Director Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar . The partents were anxious to see the creative potential of their children . It was amazing to see the craftwork provided by their tiny young hands. Topics:- Eco- friendly, Angels creativity (Craft work), Live wire.
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION (12th August 2011) Independence Day was celebrated in school. The toddlers of Pre- Primary wing danced on song - London Dekha, Paris Dekha. Non partcipants were dressed up as National Leadrers. Incentives- Tricolour batches were given to Children. RAKHI MAKING COMPETITION (10th August 2011) Rakhi making competition was celebrated in the school. Students of Pre-Primary decorated the Rakhi's with mirrors, glitters,ribbons and pulses etc.
MONSOON DAY CELEBRATION (27th July 2011) To beat the sweltering heat, the tiny tots celebrate the Rainy Day in a unique manner. They were asked to bring raincoats and umbrellas. They had a great party time by sharing their Puris, Halwa and Pakoras. They enjoyed and played in rain.
HOLIDAY's HOMEWORK DISPLAY (16th July 2011) The toddlers of the junior school are any day at par with their seniors. To authenticate this, one had to see and beleive the work done by the little hands during their holiday.The work display was a feather in the cap. The artistic strokes of colour was a marved. The worksheets done by them reflected their intense will to study and reproduce .The parents greatly appreciated the creative ability of the students.
FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION (2nd May 2011) Family day was celebrated by the little ones . Children were dressed up like any of the family members and they spoke few lines about them.
BLUE COLOUR DAY (29th April 2011) To familiarized the tiny tots with BLUE colour, Pre-Primary celebrated blue colour day. The whole class was decorated with blue colour children wore blue colour dresses and they bought blue colour objects. Various group activites and worksheet related to blue colour was done. EARTH DAY CELEBRATION (25th April 2011) Earth is a unique planet in th euniverse. To protect and to clean up the world, we live in, our pre-primary made a good effort by celebrating earth day. Topic - How we save earth was discussed and explained with the help of Teaching Aids {Model of the Earth}. Children made the paper bags and decorate it with leaves. SLOGAN :- SAVE EARTH , SAVE LIFE RED COLOUR DAY (19th April 2011) To familiarized the tiny tots with red colour, Pre-Primary celebrated red colour day. Children bought red colour objects and they did colouring in strawberries. Worksheet related to red colour was done . The whole class was decorated with red colour. BAISAKHI CELEBRATION (13th April 2011) Baisakhi was celebrated by the little ones on 13th April'11. Children did the activity of farm by pasting wheat in corn. They danced on the beats of dhol. Incentives of 'corn' was given to children. GRADUATION CEREMONY (17th March 2011) It was a day of mixed feelings - the joy and exuberance of graduating to a higher class, at th e same time the grief of departing from your teachers and leaving behind the loveable memories of the days spent with friends. The graduation ceremony started with a ' Shabad' and then the children danced on the beats of 'Bhangra' and 'Dil hai chotta sa'. Musical chairs was played with agility and the day came to an end with a farewell speech . Refreshments were served to the children . In all it was a day of 'Fun and Frolic'.
SHOW AND TELL COMPETITION (18th February 2011) Show and tell competition was held on 18.2.11 children bought their props like flowers, umbrella, flowers, raincoat, mango etc. and they spoke few lines accordingly.
BASANT PANCHMI CELEBRATION( 8th Feburary 2011) Basant Pachmi was celebrated by the little ones on 8.2.11. Children wore yellow clothes and they bought yellow flowers. They worship goddess Saraswati. The celebration came to an end with the distribution of Prasad.
BEST MAINTAINED BAG (31th January 2011) Best maintained bag competition was held on 31.1.11. The child with the best maintained bag was awarded certificate from each class.
QUIZ COMPETITION (28th January 2011) Quiz competiton was held on 28.1.11. Quetions related to animals and birds were asked.Best three were selected from each class .
HINDI HANDWRITING COMPETITION (7th December 2010) Hindi handwriting competiton was held on 7.12.10.Best three were selected from each class .
ENGLISH HANDWRITING COMPETITION (6th December 2010) English handwriting competiton was held on 6.12.10.Best three were selected from each class .
DIWALI CELEBRATION Diwali the festival of lights, was celebrated with a bang, depictitng the optimism in our lives. The highlight of the day was the rally - 'Say No to Crackers'. A message rendered by the toddlers, urging us to retrospect that 'Pollution is deadly evil and together we need to fight, to make our Earth a better place to live in'. Indeed big things come in small packages. Color was added to the celebration by the decoration of Rangoli and lighting of the lamps for the Diwali Pooja. It was indeed a party time for the children, who relished the sweets and danced to various tunes. It was surely a memorable day. FRUIT DAY Who would know the importance of fruits better than the children? To acknowledge this the Fruit Day was celebrated. Children were dressed up in forms of different fruits. They spoke few lines drawing the significance of fruits in theit lives. Fruit Chat was prepared and served in the classes.
ENGLISH RECITATION 29th October 2010 English Recitation Competition was held on 21st October. Best three awarded certificates from each class.
DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION 29th September 2010 The victory of Good over Evil was well conveyed by our little ones through the skit. Four scens depicting Shri Ram's childhood, Sita Ram's swayamver, Sita and Hanuman ji in Ashok Vatika, Ram - Ravana fight were performed well by the children. Stick puppets with the help of toffee wrappers and ice-cream sticks were created by the children. They also made Effigies of Ravana with the help of Maggie wrapper.

JANAMSHATAMI 01stSeptember 2010 The birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with religious zeal. The tiny toddlers performed exceptionally well. The depiction of the life of Lord Krishna by the Pre-Primary was stupendeous. The colourful dresses, expression and thematic presentation were a treat to watch. Star of the day was Dia Sudan
S.U.P.W EXHIBITION 28th AUGUST 2010 Science and S.U.P.W Exhibition was inaugrated by the Director Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar. Joy and enthusiasm was writ large on the faces of one and all. The parents were anxious to see the creative potential of their children. The artistic skills of the toddlers were displayed to perfection in the exhibition. It was amazing to see the craft work produced by these tiny young hands. The variety of art and craft work included paintings done by finger prints, coloured cotton in different shapes, photo frames, gift packs to name a few. The concept of God is One, Lets's learn Alphabets was indeed novel. The tiny toddlers also made us aware of how Techno-savy they are today. It was indeed exciting to see them work on their 'Touch - Screen' Computers. The parents apllauded the efforts of the teachers and the tiny tots.
SHOW & TELL COMPETITION 30 th JULY 2010 Children were dressed up accrding to the seasons & they brought with them props like Umbrella, Raincoat, Wollen Cap, Gloves etc. They also spoke few lines related to 'Seasons'.
WINTER SEASON Worksheet related to Winter season was done. A Show & Tell competition was held to recaptulate the theme 'Seasons'. SPRING SEASON Spring season is defined as a season of colour & fragrance. Charm & exuberance is added to nature in the form of Green Carpet upon its Earth. Children were given knowledge about variety Flowers & they enjoyed colouring the Flowers in the worksheet.
FRIENDSHIP DAY CELEBRATION 01st AUGUST 2010 Friendship day celebration of the Todlers was held on 1st Aug 2010. Children exchanged their friendship bands with their friends. It was a message well delivered that friendship is the essence of any relationship. Thereafter, it was a party time for the children.
SUMMER SEASON To beat the scorching heat, the children made Squash, lemonade & Lassi. Icecream vendor was called & children relished the treat.

PROJECT - SEASONS JULY 2010 Seasons of India provide a colourful blanket bringing variations to our atmosphere & Enviornment. To make the children enjoy this colourful fabric, the complete month of July was devoted to the project - SEASONS. Different sasons were depicted in the rooms of the children with the help of objects & cutouts. Information was given to them through worksheets.
RAINY SEASON To feel the droplets of water was an exotic moment for the children. They sang different rhyms enjoying the rain outside. Activity of tearing & pasting in umbrella and bottle-cap printing was conduted. They also made paper-boats & worksheet related to Rainy Season was done by all.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL DRIVE (Van Mahotsav) 09th JULY 2010 To litter the class and the play fields, reflects poor upbringing and scarcity of knowledge. But our children know exactly what they have to do. The importance of Green Dustbin and Blue Dustbin was explained to them in detail. The Green Dustbins were made which could be used for recycling and the Blue for the things that are not recycled.

POT DECORATION 07th JULY 2010 To give vent to the creative abilities of the children, an activity of pot decoration was organised. The children used materials like Mirror, Rajma, Glitter etc. It was enjoyed by them immensely.
MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATION 7th MAY 2010 The
World was out to pay a tribute to the Mothers for their contribution in
laying the foundation and shaping the lives of the children. Our little ones
also shared this joyous moment by celebrating the occasion. The importance of
'Mothers' was explained to the children. They reciprocated by making
beautiful and decorative cards for their mothers, which they carried home.
BLUE COLOUR DAY 30th APRIL 2010 Every colour has its own significance. Blue colour symbolizes serenity and the toddlers would know it only when it is emphasized at the learning stage. Therefore, the teachers and the children were dressed in blue colour. Visual images of sky and water were shown to the children, the classrooms were decorated with blue colour objects. This was supported by a learning activity of a worksheet of fish in water. Incentives of wave and cloud were given to the toddlers. RED COLOUR DAY 24th APRIL 2010 Colours mean a world to the children. They liven their imaginations and fancies and transform them, into a creation of their liking. To familiarize the Tiny Tots with Red Colour, the Pre-Primary section celebrated the Red Colour day.The class was decorated with Red Colour objects and the children were engaged in various group activities like tearing and pasting on the picture of an apple and finger printing on the illustrations of frocks. The teacher motivated the children by making red colour fruits on the hands of the children. It was a day of learning and excitement.
FAMILY DAY CELEBRATION 23th APRIL 2010 The concept of a 'Family' brings home the thought of unity and strength. To relate this to the children the Family Day was celebrated and the children were asked to dress up like their family members and speak a few lines about them. This was indeed a meaningful activity which definitely instilled positive values in the children. Based on their speech and dress, awards were given to the children. EARTH DAY 22nd APRIL 2010 'Earth' is a unique planet in the Universe. The planet today is facing serious problems of extinction due to various environmental hazards. It goes without saying that each one of us need to contribute to the best of our capabilities, to save our mother Earth. Our children of the Pre-Primary section very wittingly endeavored to spread this message of protecting our Bio-diversity. They pasted pictures of Earth in their Exploring Art and Activity book. Slogan of 'Save Earth before it melts' were written on the cones made by the teachers.
ENVIORNMENT CONSERVATION WEEK 6th TO 9thJULY 2010 NATURE WALK 06 th JULY 2010 To preserve and to conserve the nature are two main issues that need our attention. Practical knowledge does the wonder in explaining this concept. Through nature walk the children were brought close to the bounties of Nature.They explored a new world of stones, leaves, twigs and flowers which elated their hearts and they pledged to save mother Earth by planting saplings.
