BOOK FAIR - 31 st December 2011
It is rightly said "Books are Man's Best Friend." keeping this in mind a Book fair was organised in our School. It was a week long event with the aim of helping the students get access to thousands of affordable and educational products, helping foster a lifelong love of reading.
Our School is known to encourage such educational events. Here, children could peruse and purchase their favourite books. The fair had books arranged for all age-groups, grade - levels and of all genres, making it easy for kids to find characters and subjects they love and want to read about.
Ardent lovers of books were seen purchasing their favourite books and also, introducing their parents to their world of interest.
This book fair lured even the non - lovers and mesmerised by the atmosphere, even they purchased few books.

FOOD CARNIVAL - 12 th November 2011
Hospitality, appreciation and celebration are all synomyms to LAPS! In LAPS, we believe in searching talent, grooming and appreciating it to encourage it further. Food Carnival was conducted in the School Ground, to showcase the talent of the students in the field of culinary.
The Chief Guest , Mr. Y. P. Purang, Retd. Addl. Dept. Director of Education, Mrs. Sanjiwan Mehar, Managing Director of the school and Mrs. J. Singh, Secretary inaugrated the function.
Parents were cordially invited to be a part of our hospitality, as we believe any event remains incompelete without parents involvement in it. A School is a trinity- of teachers, students and parents. Hence all three are required to solemnize the event in its true sense.
Food Carnival - A perfect platform where talents blend with each other and create a masterpiece. From the Middle wing to the Senior Wing, each class prepared its own stall.
The menu comprised of Fruit Punch, Fruit Salad, Russian Salad, Aloo Tikki as starters, A La carte we had Chana Bhatura, Pav Bhaji, Sarson da Saag with Makke di roti and for the dessert we had Mal Pura with kheer.
As its said, " Music is the food for Soul", so how could our carnival be deprived of it!
Along with the culinary talent another talent was also showcased- Dancing talent!. Students grooved on the dance numbers and so did the parents present there.
The special attraction of the event was LUCKY DIP! Parents tried their luck to win gift hampers and a time came when all the hampers were won but the parents were left wanting for more!!
